Hi Guys,

Just a brief update to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I have almost finished configuring the Pledge Manager software so you should see a notification coming out in early January that this is ready.

Take care, have a great festive season and I'll speak with you all again soon in early 2021 :-)

Campaign Fulfilment - Timeline
over 3 years ago – Mon, Dec 14, 2020 at 08:42:23 AM

Hi Guys,

Firstly I hope you are all well. Kickstarter has now collected all funds from backers, and this should be coming through to me soon (although it hasn't as yet). I know one or two of you have had some issues with the payment to KS, and I am liaising with you directly where this has happened.

I'm still setting up the Pledge Manager (currently creating shipping zones and charge rates based on order weights) and I'm hoping to have this finished this week. There are a lot of permutations and the set-up needs to be suitably detailed to make sure the P&P is appropriate for your pledge and geographic region - but I'll get there!

Shortly after Christmas you will start receiving Backer Surveys. Now don't panic! There are only 3 questions that we'd like you to answer - where you heard about the Campaign; What Game Systems due you usually play; and therefore what might you want to see from Agema Miniatures next? The Survey also allows you to check and confirm your postal details, and will ask for your consent to enter the Pledge Manager. Some of you who only pledged £1 will not receive a survey (as KS doesn't count you as a backer as such as £1 doesn't correspond with a Pledge Level) but you will be able to gain access to the Pledge Manager / Pre-order Store once ready.

The next update should then follow shortly thereafter, when the Pledge Manager is opened and available for you all to pick your packs and pay for postage. This will be available until May 2021, at which stage your pledges / items and postage will be fixed and cards charged for the P&P, along with any additional items you might have chosen (you can choose to add any of the items in the Campaign).

We will then start packing and shipping your orders. I hope the above all makes sense guys, but any questions please, do just drop me a message or email and hopefully I can clarify for you.

If I don't post another update before Christmas (although I hope to), have an awesome celebration and stay safe everyone! Io Saturnalia!! :-)

Cheers

Pledge Manager Build-Out under-way
over 3 years ago – Mon, Dec 07, 2020 at 10:17:56 AM

Hi Guys,

I hope this update finds you all well. Almost all the funds that you pledged (thanks again!) have now been collected by Kickstarter. Shortly KS should start the transfer process to myself (this normally happens within about 2 weeks) and I will then confirm to the lovely chaps at Footsore that they can start pressing production moulds . If any of you are having issues with KS collecting your pledge funds, please do drop me a line and I'll be happy to try and help where I can.

In the meantime, I'm starting on the Pledge Manager configuration (which will drive the calculation of postage charges and allow you to allocate the packs / figures to your pledge amounts). It's quite a complicated process (and I'm not the most tech savvy individual!) but hopefully should all be done shortly. Once completed, I will let you all know.

Thanks again guys, and I'll be in touch again with progress soon (probably in about a week or so).

Take Care

Greg

To all of you - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
over 3 years ago – Fri, Dec 04, 2020 at 03:47:09 AM

Hi Guys,

Our Etruscan Campaign has now closed, and we topped £9,600 raised. That is amazing - thank you all so, so much!!

Now the work our end starts in earnest - production moulds have to be pressed and spun, and orders finalised and packed / mailed out (when ready).

We will be using a Pledge Manager system, which will open up to you all shortly (we'll let you know when it's ready, so keep an eye out for the update). Within the Pledge Manager you will be able to select the specific packs you would like for the funds you have pledged , pay for shipping, and even add a few more items (should you wish). Full details will follow soon.

Thank you all again - you guys are awesome! :-)

Cheers

Thank you all!

Snake Priest Unlocked!
over 3 years ago – Tue, Dec 01, 2020 at 02:59:56 AM

Hi Everyone,

Wow! We did it! In the last few minutes we've passed the £9k mark which releases a figure very close to my heart, 'Tachulcha' or our Etruscan Snake Priest. Everyone who has pledged £75 or more will receive one of these figures absolutely free!

He was designed as a multi-part figure, blending the historic with the mythological. The ancient sources tell us that Etruscan priests 'waving snakes and brandishing torches' caused a Roman Army to recoil in fear from them, until the Roman Consul shamed his troops by explaining that these priests were only men, just like them, and were they afraid of a few men with snakes? Clearly the Legions were not, and the Etruscan Army was subsequently defeated.

But this led me to think that the Priests in question must have 'looked' scary, rather than actually 'be' scary, otherwise, why would the Consul have to point out that these visions of horror were just men? Hence our Priest is dressed to look like a demon from the Underworld, with bird faced mask, horns, snakes and strap on wings. The wings can be removed if you prefer a figure a little less mythic :-)

With about 17 hours to go I am blown away by all your support - thank you all so much!

Cheers

Greg
