MG Card Deck - update

Hi Guys,

The card deck proof reading was completed yesterday and the finished artwork sent to the printers. They have come back to me this morning to say that the printing should be done and back with me in approximately 10 days, which would be the 28th August but given that is a weekend, I'm expecting I'll get the cards around the 30th or 31st. 

Which should mean I will get the remaining pledges with MG cards out to you all the first week of September. That's about a month later than I had originally planned, for which profound apologies. Thanks for your patience everyone, and I'll keep you posted with progress as I get it.

Progress on MG Cards

Hi Guys,

The MG Card Deck is making progress. All the cards have been created and I and the Footsore guys have spent the last few days proof reading to make sure they are all correct - which they should now be! The artwork has been sent to the printers today and, baring any issues, they should be able to start the layup process ready to begin printing. 

I don't know yet how long that will take, but I should have a further update very soon. In the meantime, attached are a couple of images to give you a flavour. 

Thanks again all for your patience, and I'm looking forward to getting these out to you as soon as possible.

Mortal Gods Cards & Missing Shields

Hi All,

Thanks to everyone who has been in touch regarding the delayed Mortal Gods cards. The vast majority of you seem happy to wait for the cards to come through, and have your pledges mailed as one complete package - which if that is your preference, I will of course do. For those few who've asked for their cards to come separately, I will send your figures v soon. For those who have not been in touch, please do let me know if you have a preference. 

I noticed this morning that some of the sets of Warriors in Linothorax didn't have shields packed in with them. I think possibly a dozen or so sets might have been mailed out therefore without shields. If you receive your pledge and the Warriors in Linothorax do not have their Aspis shields with them, please let me know and I will mail some out to you. Apologies but that's what comes of trying to pack orders late at night on a Friday after a long week! Less haste, more speed :-)

I have been speaking with the Footsore team over the last week about the cards, and we are making some final tweaks to the artwork and finalising Omen affects, before going to print. All being well I think we should have some significant progress soon. Thanks for your patience everyone!

Mortal Gods Roster & Gift Cards - Delays

Hi All,

I've now received all the figures needed to complete your pledges, and some of you may even have received your pledges over the last few days. However, although I have all the minis needed, the one item I don't have are the Mortal Gods Roster & Gift Cards. 

These are still having the artwork finalised, and then need to be proofed, printed and dispatched, which means they are unlikely to be with me very soon. 

So, what I was going to suggest was that, for those of you who pledged for the Card set, I send all your figures now, and then send the Cards on when I receive them, rather than hold the whole pledge bundle up. 

Please do let me know if you are OK with the above suggestion, or indeed if you are not, and I can take a view. I'm just conscious that you will probably want to get going with painting and basing your figures well ahead of getting them on the table-top with the Card set, but that may be just me!

Apologies for the delay, but I can assure you it's due to factors beyond my control.

Pledges Now Shipping!

Hi Guys,

I received a second large tranche of castings on Friday, hand delivered by the redoubtable chaps at Footsore in order to help with fulfilment timescales (which was unexpected but awesome!) That means I have almost (but not all) the figures and add-ons needed to start fulfilling your pledges. 

I'm obviously starting with the pledges for which I have all the stock needed - these are typically the smaller pledges and tend to be the Opening Offer or Pick & Mix pledges. You will start to see these come through over the next few days and weeks. 

I'm still tying up the final missing casts and chasing the Mortal Gods card sets and hope to have these sorted soon. Once in hand, all pledges can then start shipping. 

Please note if you are in Europe, the mailing situation due to Brexit is not great - most orders are taking longer than expected to deliver and the orders I have sent recently have been held at customs requiring a VAT and / or import release payment. I will avoid putting a value on the customs declaration forms in order to lessen this as far as possible, but I can't guarantee there won't be an import charge levied. I'm sorry about this but there's nothing I can do about the politics of exiting the EU and the practical consequences of this. 

I'll keep you all updated and hopefully will be able to start shipping all pledges soon.
